At present, the Mahavidyalaya offers undergraduate education through two major programmes, Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) and Bachelor of Computer Applicaton (B.C.A.). The B.A. programme provides students with opportunities to study subjects including Geography, Education, Sociology, Home Science, Hindi, Sanskrit, and Economics. Through these subjects, the institution seeks to develop analytical ability, social awareness, communication skills, cultural understanding, and academic competence among students. The B.C.A. programme is intended to promote scientific thinking, logical reasoning, practical knowledge, and an interest in scientific learning. The development plan aims to gradually strengthen these programmes according to the educational needs of students and the changing requirements of higher education.
Academic development will remain the central focus of the Mahavidyalaya. The institution plans to improve teaching-learning practices through student-centred education, regular classroom teaching, tutorials, seminars, assignments, discussions, practical activities, and educational visits wherever appropriate. Faculty members will be encouraged to use modern teaching methods and digital educational resources to make learning more effective and engaging. Special attention will be given to slow learners through remedial and supportive teaching, while academically motivated students will be encouraged to participate in additional academic activities.
The Mahavidyalaya also proposes continuous improvement of its infrastructure and learning resources. Development of classrooms, laboratories, library facilities, computer and digital learning resources, drinking water, sanitation, electricity, sports facilities, and other essential amenities will be undertaken in a phased manner. The institution will work towards creating a safe, clean, inclusive, and student-friendly campus. Greater use of information and communication technology will be encouraged to support academic and administrative activities.
Student development will be promoted through extracurricular and co-curricular activities such as sports, cultural programmes, debates, essay writing, seminars, awareness campaigns, environmental activities, and community-oriented programmes. The Mahavidyalaya will also encourage students to develop leadership, communication, teamwork, ethical values, and social responsibility. Career guidance, skill development, and awareness programmes will be gradually strengthened to help students prepare for employment, competitive examinations, higher education, and entrepreneurship.
